James Derryl Thomas, OD

Dr. Thomas received his degree in optometry from the Southern College of Optometry, Tennessee, and started out practicing optometry at American Eyecare Center, Waycross from 1990 to 1991.

In April 1991, Dr. Thomas started his own practice, American Eyecare Centerof Jesup. Then in 2001, he opened his second office on Saint Simons Island.

Dr. Thomas is an active member of the Georgia Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, the National Society of Glaucoma, and is an active member of the Jesup community.

He provides comprehensive eye exams, contact lens evaluations, treats ocular disease, and co-management of refractive surgery patients.

Mark Manocha, MD

​Dr. Manocha has been providing comprehensive eye care in Savannah since 1999. Dr. Manocha received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University.

Dr. Manocha did his postgraduate training at Baylor College of Medicine and his residency at the Medical College of Georgia.

After completing his residency, Dr. Manocha came to Savannah to practice and in 2010 joined Georgia Eye Institute.

Dr. Manocha is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract and anterior segment surgery, refractive surgery, and surgical diseases of the eye.
